For over 14 years, Mrs. April Wade has served as Director of Kiddie Courts Learning Center. Mrs. Wade has a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Elementary and Special Education. Her certification also includes nursery school, kindergarten, supervision of student teachers, and computer literacy. She has a Masters in Supervision Administration and a Specialist of Education with an emphasis in technology.

Mrs. Wade is a former public school educator of thirteen years. Her passion then and now is to empower students with the essential tools of becoming literate, productive, contributing members of society. She believes students excel in environments where their needs are prioritized, teamwork is valued, and children are encouraged to reach their potential. She believes students are willing to excel when they believe one genuinely cares about them.

Kiddie Courts has been in the community since 1994 and has served several hundred families and children. One of her greatest accomplishments is the involvement of parental support in the academic, emotional, and social development of the children. Research supports that parental involvement impacts student performance and builds effective partnerships that improve schools and education. She posits students are willing to exceed academically when nurtured intrinsically.
