About Our Pastor

Pastor Johnnie Davis accepted the call out of sin into the marvelous light of God on March 26, 1983 in a phenomenal experience with the Holy Ghost.  Asking God to be filled, he became intoxicated with new wine.

Pastor Johnnie was ordained as a deacon in February of 1985.  Six years later, he willingly received the divine call to the five-fold ministry.  As ordained by God, he became the Founder and Pastor of Agape Love Center on August 27, 1989.  God gave him the responsibility to "blanket the city with the love of God."

Jeremiah 3:15, "And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding."  Pastor Davis walks and operates in grace as he blazes the trail of purpose that can only edify the Body of Christ.  In 1992, God gave vision to Pastor Johnnie to birth and host an annual Five-Fold Ministry Conference.  As one sit under the ministry of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher for a week, the body is even more equipped for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the Body of Christ until we all attain to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the son of God.  The conference displays the gifts to also help us mature to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

Pastor Davis is married to Sister Rosa, and they are blessed with three daughters, one son, and six grandchildren!

My Vision for the Church...

As I look back on the history of Agape Love Center, I am amazed at what God has done in the life of his assembly of believers. We started on a Sunday morning in September, 1989. Our location was a section of the Self-Help Shopping Center on Martin Luther Ling, Jr. Drive. This building formerly housed Living Hope Ministries before it dissolution, and some of the Saints are remnants of that ministry.

In 1995, the Lord prompted us to take a greater step of faith.  Though small in numbers, we, as a corporate body, having received the Joshua One mandate from the Lord, embarked on our journey of crossing our Jordan to possess the land promised to us by God. In April, 1995, we relocated to our current physical location which we believe to be the permanent home of Agape Love Center until the Lord comes to rapture His church.

The vision of Agape Love Center is to “Blanket the City with the Love of God.” In our effort to make our vision a reality, we have many goals to accomplish that will greatly benefit the Agape family and Natchitoches.

The vision includes:

  • Child care facility

  • Credit union

  • Educational facility

  • Five-Fold Ministry Conference
